Binh coordinates the Iowa N.E.W. Leadership Institute, a program aimed at closing the gender leadership gap and increasing participation of members of marginalized groups in all sectors of public leadership. She also coordinates the Women of Colour Network, which aims to increase visibility for women of colour on the University of Iowa campus and to promote opportunities for women of colour to find community and support. She is passionate about advocating for people who experience continued marginalization and to bridge the gap for their social support.  In her free time, she enjoys going on walks in the neighborhood or in nature, and spending time with loved ones.
