Biography

Jada is the Programming Assistant at WRAC. In her role, she helps coordinate and execute Women of Colour Network Events. In addition, she works with the volunteer group, the WRACtivists, initiating social change through service projects and by tackling social justice issues. Through the WRACtivists, she also founded the Period Project. This is a multifaceted approach to ending period poverty through service, education, and policy change. Jada also organizes campus events and helps execute organizational events such as Take Back the Night.
 
Jada received her Bachelor of Arts in public health from the University of Iowa in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health in Health Policy. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, going to the gym, traveling, and drinking coffee.
