Isabella Brauhn Kendall, MPH
Isabella is a Violence Prevention Coordinator at the Women’s Resource and Action Center (WRAC) at the University of Iowa. In this role, Isabella designs, coordinates, and implements gender and sexual violence prevention programs for students, staff, and faculty across the University of Iowa campus. This includes facilitating workshops on crucial topics such as bystander intervention, identity-based harm prevention, consent, healthy relationships, and dismantling rape culture.
Isabella holds a Masters of Public Health in Community & Behavioral Health with a graduate emphasis in Gender, Women, & Sexuality Studies from the University of Iowa College of Public Health. Isabella also received Bachelor's degrees from the University of Iowa in Psychology and Gender, Women, & Sexuality Studies. Isabella has been involved in victim services, anti-violence initiatives, and prevention education work for over 7 years. Before joining WRAC, Isabella was deeply involved in violence prevention work at the Rape Victim Advocacy Program (RVAP), where she provided support to victims and led various educational initiatives.
In her free time, Isabella loves spending time with her family and two dogs, getting lost in a good book, catching up with friends, and experimenting with fun nail designs.
