Certified Peer Educator Job Posting

In line with the mission and values of the Women’s Resource and Action Center (WRAC), Certified Peer Educators (CPEs) will facilitate bystander intervention and other violence prevention workshops (e.g., healthy relationships, consent education, identity-based harm and sexual violence prevention) to promote awareness and take a stand to make a difference at the University of Iowa. Certified Peer Educators will be responsible for promoting a campus culture that educates and empowers Hawkeyes to become active bystanders and allies to end identity-based harm, sexual and relationship violence. Students must have evening and weekend availability. Upon completing the required 20 hours of training and certification process, Certified Peer Educators are eligible to receive a $1000 stipend per academic year.
