Certified Peer Educators (CPEs) facilitate bystander intervention and violence prevention workshops (e.g., healthy relationships, consent education and sexual violence prevention) to promote awareness and make a difference at the University of Iowa. Certified Peer Educators are responsible for promoting a campus culture that educates and empowers Hawkeyes to be active bystanders and end violence. Upon completion of the required 20 hours of training and certification process, Certified Peer Educators are eligible to receive a $1000 stipend per academic year. 

Priority deadline: April 18, 2025. 

Applications are open for the 2025-2026 program and are reviewed as they are received. Applications will remain open until all positions are filled.
