Jada McDonald, B.A.
Jada is the Outreach and Programming Assistant and Violence Prevention Assistant at WRAC. In her role, she helps coordinate and execute campus events such as Take Back the Night. Additionally, she works with the volunteer group, the WRACtivists, initiating social change through service projects and tackling human rights issues. Through the WRACtivists, she also founded the Period Project. This is a multifaceted approach to ending period poverty through service, education, and policy change. Jada also works with the Violence Prevention team facilitating Violence Prevention workshops across campus.
Jada received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health in Health Policy. She enjoys watching movies, going to the gym, traveling, and drinking coffee in her free time.
