Linda has served as Director of the Women’s Resource & Action Center – better known as WRAC – at the University of Iowa since 2011. In addition to oversight of the Center’s programming and services, Linda provides direct, confidential support and assistance to people experiencing discrimination, harassment, and/or violence related to their identities. She leads a variety of efforts on campus to reduce barriers for people who experience marginalization and is active as a professional trainer and consultant on issues including gender equity, structural and systemic aspects of oppression, and strategies that individuals can use to make positive change. She teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the UI Department of Gender, Women’s & Sexuality Studies and is a past member of the Women’s Centers Committee (WCC) for the National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA).
